Challenger Baseball
Challenger Little League Baseball is offered to children and young adults, ages 5 – 21, with physical and/or developmental disabilities from the surrounding counties of Ontario, Yates, Seneca and Wayne. The 10-week season is scheduled May through July with practices on Wednesdays and games on Saturday.
We play at the Challenger Baseball Field, which is handicapped accessible in Geneva behind the Wendy’s on Routes 5 & 20.
We are flexible and adapt to the children and young adults’ abilities. It is a coach pitch and coach catch environment. Every player gets to bat and play the outfield every inning. In June, we are invited to the Challenger World Series at Frontier Field in Rochester and enjoy a game with other Challenger teams in the area. Coaches and helpers are volunteers.
